Childwatch Attendant

Job overview

The Childwatch Attendant role is onsite in Blair, NE, and pays $15.00–$15.75 per hour. Compensation is provided by the YMCA of Greater Omaha, a nonprofit focused on strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. This role creates a safe, positive, and nurturing experience for children while supporting cooperative relationships with parents and caregivers. By planning activities, following safety and cleanliness standards, and maintaining program records, the attendant helps deliver the YMCA’s childwatch program.

What you'll do

• Plan and lead activities for participating children
• communicate with parents, children, and staff
• follow safety, cleanliness, medical, disciplinary, child-abuse prevention, and emergency procedures
• maintain attendance and other program records
• participate in family nights, program activities, staff meetings, training, and fundraising efforts.
