CDL Driver-Local. This is an onsite position in Brookshire, TX. The pay rate is $22.00 - $23.00 per hour. PODS is a moving and storage solutions company. This role is responsible for the delivery and pickup of containers to and from customer locations, ensuring an effective and incident-free experience while maintaining excellent customer rapport.

What you'll do

• Drive and operate a commercial truck with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers at customer sites safely.
• Perform and log daily pre and post trip inspections.
• Accept add-on deliveries as required.
• Use company handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation.
• Operate a forklift and/or an overhead crane.
• Clean and inspect containers.
• Coordinate rental paperwork and payment.
• Communicate with the Driver Lead or Market Manager.
• Perform repairs of containers and lifts.
• Provide backup for storage center functions.
• Maintain cleanliness of truck cab.

What we're looking for

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Experience

Minimum 3 months of experience as a CDL driver.
