By coordinating with suppliers and internal teams and flagging schedule risks, the Buyer helps keep material flow aligned with the project’s construction schedule.

What you'll do

• Prepare and issue purchase orders and blanket order releases in Oracle Fusion
• review requisitions for completeness, requirements, and budget coding
• confirm supplier acknowledgments, pricing, quantities, delivery dates, and terms
• process purchase order amendments and closeouts
• maintain auditable purchase order files
• track fabrication, shipment, and delivery milestones
• expedite critical or delayed orders and escalate issues
• update delivery trackers and compare dates with project schedules and forecasts
• follow up with suppliers and logistics providers
• coordinate required supplier submittals
• document communications in Aconex
• prepare status and expediting reports
• coordinate with receiving, warehousing, construction, procurement, finance, and accounts payable teams.
