Reading Tutor

Job overview

Reading Tutor is an onsite role in Wauconda, IL; pay is $25–$75 per hour. Impact Kids provides enrichment programs for students at public and private schools. The tutor delivers individualized and group reading instruction to students ages 4–18, supports reading skill development, and helps maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment. The role also prepares daily plans, supervises students, and collaborates with families, peers, and the leadership team.

What you'll do

• Provide daily reading tutoring to students ages 4–18 with different ability levels
• deliver one-on-one instruction while managing the student group
• teach fundamental reading skills
• supervise student behavior, health, safety, and security
• prepare daily plans
• use classroom management skills
• collaborate with Activity Specialists and communicate with students and families.

Why this role
