As the first senior frontend hire, this engineer establishes the architecture, component system, design language, and engineering practices for the team. The work combines foundational frontend decisions with production UI delivery and close collaboration with Applied AI and Platform engineers for enterprise deployments.

What you'll do

• Architect the frontend foundation, including component systems, design tokens, patterns, and engineering conventions
• make decisions about frameworks, state management, rendering, and performance budgets
• build shared libraries and abstractions
• establish code standards, review practices, and documentation
• collaborate with Applied AI and Platform engineers on API contracts and integration patterns
• ship production-grade UI for enterprise customer deployments
• evolve the architecture as the team, product, and customer base grow.
