The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients, with the ability to delegate tasks to direct patient care staff.

What you'll do

• Performs ongoing, systematic collection and analysis of patient data pre – during – post hemodialysis treatment.
• Assesses, collaborates, and documents patient/family’s basic learning needs.
• Directs and provides all aspects of the daily provision of hemodialysis therapy.
• Administers medications as prescribed.
• Initiates or assists with emergency response measures.
• Serves as a resource for the health care team.
• Ensures correct laboratory collection, processing, and shipping procedures.
• Identifies expected outcomes and updates the nursing assessment and plan of care.
• Ensures patient awareness related to transplant and treatment modality options.
• Required to complete CAP requirements to advance.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Experience

Entry level for RNs with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience as a Registered Nurse.
