Resident Assistant/Mentor

The Resident Assistant/Mentor role is onsite in Roxbury, MA, paying $20–$22 per hour. The position provides direct care in a trauma-informed residential setting for teen parents and their children, under the direct supervision of the Clinical Care Coordinator. The assistant models positive parent-child interactions, supports safety, and teaches life, coping, and parenting skills. Through interdisciplinary teamwork and communication with families and community organizations, the role helps teen mothers build skills and work toward self-sufficiency and nurturing parenting.

What you'll do

• Provide direct care and supervision to teen parents and their children
• model positive parent-child interactions
• participate in assessment and treatment planning
• implement safety measures as directed
• communicate with teens, families, agencies, and community organizations
• support training for teen mothers
• complete assigned night safety checks, inventory, and records
• comply with agency, contract, and licensing requirements.
