What you'll do

• Learn electric distribution systems and construction design
• route and survey overhead and underground distribution lines and process service upgrades
• read maps and construction drawings
• develop distribution design packets for electrical cooperatives
• prepare utility crossing and encroachment permits
• communicate with clients, landowners, and government agencies
• complete projects within timelines
• use survey-grade Trimble GPS and client-specific software
• operate a company-provided vehicle with trailer and UTV
• follow safe work procedures.
