What you'll do

• Lead reporting on team coverage including elections, severe weather, and breaking news
• work with newsroom managers, the desk, photographers, and the Special Projects Executive Producer to prioritize stories and meet deadlines
• build community sources and generate investigative leads
• develop long- and short-term investigative stories
• research, vet, and follow up on tips
• contribute content to digital, website, and social platforms.
