The Lead Teacher role is onsite in Stafford, VA, with an hourly rate of $17–$19. Children of America is a nationally accredited preschool serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years across early childhood and school-age programs. The Lead Teacher leads classroom instruction and carries out daily lesson plans to support a safe, structured, positive learning environment. The role contributes to continuity of care and children’s learning through communication with families and staff, progress documentation, and use of COA’s Mind and Body Matters curriculum.

What you'll do

• Carry out daily lesson plans
• help create a safe, structured, positive learning environment
• communicate professionally with parents, children, and team members
• use technology to document and deliver child progress reports
• set age-appropriate expectations
• lead classroom instruction using COA’s Mind and Body Matters curriculum.
