The Test Engineer role is onsite in Port Hueneme, CA, supporting the TESS Task Order. The stated pay range is $40–$50 per hour. The position supports ADVANTEDGE TECHNOLOGY’s technical work on the task order. The role exists to administer and maintain Linux-based systems and related infrastructure, helping ensure systems remain installed, configured, secure, documented, and available. It contributes through system upgrades, troubleshooting, technical documentation, and support for system performance and integrity.

What you'll do

• Administer, install, configure, patch, and secure Linux systems
• manage virtualization platforms and server resources
• support LAMP configuration, storage permissions, cloud platforms, logs, and antivirus
• maintain technical documentation
• back up, retrieve, and migrate data
• perform hardware upgrades and performance tuning
• provide technical guidance
• travel as required.
