The Site Safety and Health Officer – USACE Project role is onsite in Columbus, OH. Pay is $75,000–$85,000 per year. The officer supports safe, compliant construction and quality project delivery through site inspections, safety documentation, coordination, and follow-up on deficiencies. The role works with the construction team and project leadership to identify issues and support corrective action.

What you'll do

• Inspect site and building construction work
• document discrepancies, code violations, and workmanship issues
• review submittals, RFIs, and inspection reports
• maintain project files and construction records
• monitor schedules
• prepare quality control reports and punch lists
• coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning
• maintain safety plans and reports
• and follow up on deficiencies.

Why this role
