Deburr Technician

The Deburr Technician role is onsite in Auburn Hills, MI, with compensation of $21–$25 per hour. United CNC Machining makes precision, mission-critical components for the aerospace and defense industries. This role provides the final finishing step before inspection, removing burrs and sharp edges so precision parts meet print, customer, and AS9100D requirements. Careful finishing and inspection help protect part quality and prevent damage to high-value components.

What you'll do

• Deburr, break edges, and blend machined aerospace-alloy parts using hand and powered tools
• operate pneumatic and electric finishing tools safely to specification
• read blueprints and work instructions
• inspect work visually and with basic measuring tools
• protect and package parts
• complete process sign-offs and paperwork
• maintain lot traceability and segregation
• identify and report nonconforming parts
• follow FOD prevention, 5S, PPE, safety, ITAR, and CMMC requirements
• suggest process improvements.

Why this role

High school diploma or GED required; one or more years of deburring, hand-finishing, or machine-shop experience preferred. Must be a U.S. person under ITAR. Overtime may be needed.
