Senior Product Systems Engineer

The Senior Product Systems Engineer role is onsite in Golden, CO, with a stated base salary range of $160,000–$210,000 per year. Loft Orbital builds and operates spacecraft and provides end-to-end space missions for customers. This role shapes the architecture of Loft’s overall offering across ground and space systems. It defines capabilities, interfaces, requirements, and architectural boundaries, and aligns product intent with engineering implementation so the platform can be coherent, reusable, and scalable.

What you'll do

• Define the offering architecture across ground and space
• support capability allocation across hardware, software, ground, flight, and external components
• shape ground processing, software tools, and customer interfaces
• maintain requirements and architectural boundaries
• coordinate cross-team architecture discussions
• contribute to CONOPS, ICDs, trade studies, and technical documentation
• support architecture reviews and technical decisions.
