Warehouse Shift Lead – 1st Shift

The Warehouse Shift Lead – 1st Shift works onsite in Dallas, TX. Compensation is $24–$26 per hour. The role supports Eastern Metal Supply’s daily warehouse operations. The Shift Lead provides hands-on direction to warehouse team members so orders are processed accurately, safely and on time. By assigning work, monitoring productivity, reinforcing safety, and supporting training and process improvements, the role helps the team meet operational priorities.

What you'll do

• Assign daily tasks and guide team members throughout the shift
• assist with performance evaluation and development discussions
• cover for the Shift Supervisor when assigned
• promote safety and OSHA compliance, including proper PPE use
• monitor order processing and shipment preparation for accuracy and quality
• coach on errors and unsafe behaviors
• educate staff on products and handling
• review Raymond and forklift inspections
• and support process improvements, productivity goals and cross-training.
