Director of Facilities

What you'll do

• Lead Facilities, Life Support, and Energy Management departments
• support managers and preventative maintenance programs
• oversee maintenance and infrastructure projects, procurement, contractor bidding, and contract development
• manage asset records, building plans, equipment inventories, warranties, and the Energy Management System
• develop and monitor operating budgets and business plans
• contribute to capital planning and long-range infrastructure strategies
• promote safety and regulatory compliance
• develop managers and team members
• coordinate facilities support during emergencies
• partner with Zoo departments on campus operations, events, and projects.
