The CNC Surface Grinder Set Up Machinist role is onsite in Zimmerman, MN, with compensation of $24–$42 per hour. The position supports production by setting up machines and producing parts to drawing specifications.

What you'll do

• Read prints and setup sheets to prepare tooling
• load tooling and programs and verify machine readiness
• stage material and validate requirements before the initial part
• load and remove material
• inspect parts with measuring instruments
• identify deviations from specifications
• run multiple machines when necessary
• adjust offsets
• troubleshoot programs that do not produce the desired results
• communicate job progress to the supervisor
• and maintain a clean work area.
