What you'll do

• Maintain a sterile environment and aseptic technique
• select and prepare instruments and supplies
• assist with patient positioning
• perform surgical counts
• clean and prepare instruments for decontamination
• follow perioperative environment-of-care and surgical-attire practices
• report breaks in sterile technique and safety concerns to the circulating registered nurse.
