What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and vehicle system issues
• perform general repairs and preventive maintenance
• troubleshoot brakes, suspension, steering, wiring, lighting, pumps, and generators
• use diagnostic equipment and wiring diagrams
• replace damaged components
• perform basic fabrication or welding as needed
• complete service records
• collaborate with technicians.
