Senior IT Desktop Technician

Job overview

The Senior IT Desktop Technician role is onsite at CoVerica’s Dallas-Fort Worth office, with an opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule after an initial acclimation period. Compensation is $70,000–$75,000 annually. The role supports the technology needs of CoVerica, an employee-owned independent insurance agency. The technician keeps employees productive by resolving desktop and application issues, managing devices and accounts, supporting Microsoft 365, and helping maintain endpoint security as the agency grows.

What you'll do

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support by phone, email, and in person
• resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• handle escalated desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral issues
• configure and deploy workstations and mobile devices
• support Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
• use an RMM platform for patching, monitoring, and remote support
• assist with backup and recovery tasks
• maintain asset inventory, tickets, and IT documentation
• coach teammates on common technology questions.
