IT Customer Relationship Manager

The IT Customer Relationship Manager role is hybrid in Richmond, VA, with pay of $51–$71 per hour. The position supports the Virginia Department of Transportation by connecting business divisions and district leadership with its Information Technology Division. The manager aligns technology services, projects, and product planning with business priorities by building stakeholder relationships, coordinating delivery, and resolving escalations. The role also develops capability roadmaps and supports communication and collaboration across business and IT teams.

What you'll do

• Build trusted relationships with assigned VDOT business partners and district leadership
• serve as a primary contact for IT coordination and escalations
• meet with agency leadership about priorities and service performance
• translate business strategies into IT priorities
• develop multi-year capability roadmaps with stakeholders and Enterprise Architecture
• coordinate technology requests and delivery
• manage escalations and service challenges
• prepare stakeholder communications and presentations
• facilitate conflict resolution
• support technology governance and policy compliance.
