Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA), Perioperative

The Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA), Perioperative role is onsite in Anaheim, CA, with a 13-week assignment and a day schedule of 12:30 p.m.–8:00 p.m., either four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts. Pay is $85–$90 per hour. The role supports surgical teams across multiple procedure types. The RNFA provides perioperative assistance in scrub and circulating roles, helping surgical teams deliver safe, patient-centered care. The position prepares rooms and equipment, supports procedures, monitors patients, and maintains sterile technique and accurate documentation.

What you'll do

• Provide RNFA support during surgical procedures and function in scrub and circulating roles
• assist with robotic procedures and bariatric, general, colorectal, orthopedic/spine, vascular, urology, and gynecology procedures
• prepare operating rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies
• maintain sterile technique and infection-prevention standards
• assist with patient positioning, preparation, and transfer
• support surgical counts, patient monitoring, and clinical documentation.
