Ice Resurfacer Operator / Site Supervisor

The Ice Resurfacer Operator / Site Supervisor role is onsite in Howell, MI. Compensation is $18 per hour. The position supports the City of Howell’s Fire and Ice Depot District and its public skating, programs, and special events. The supervisor oversees facility operations during assigned shifts, directs and supports part-time staff, and operates and maintains the ice resurfacer. The role also supports customer service, facility safety, opening and closing procedures, and general upkeep.

What you'll do

• Oversee daily facility operations during assigned shifts
• direct and support part-time staff
• serve as the on-site contact
• complete opening and closing procedures and reporting
• handle customer inquiries and incidents
• enforce facility rules and safety protocols
• operate the ice resurfacer and monitor ice conditions
• inspect and perform routine equipment maintenance
• report mechanical or safety issues
• support facility cleanliness, snow and ice removal, events, rentals, and programming.
