Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Weaverville, North Carolina. Pay is $26–$28 per hour. The position supports maintenance of the property and its apartment homes, grounds, common areas, and amenities. The technician completes resident-requested repairs and preventive maintenance, prepares vacant apartments for leasing and move-ins, and helps keep the property safe, functional, and in good repair.

What you'll do

• Complete work orders and preventive maintenance
• diagnose defects and make repairs
• prepare vacant apartments for leasing and move-ins
• track supplies and inventory
• document service requests
• maintain grounds and common areas
• support safety meetings and property inspections
• report hazards and equipment malfunctions
• periodically inspect contractor work.
