First Steps Nursing and Therapy Services provides one-on-one nursing care and support for pediatric patients and their families. The nurse provides direct care, monitors patient status, administers prescribed treatments, and documents observations for assigned cases. The role supports patients with varying care needs, including tracheostomy, ventilator, G-tube, oxygen, and breathing-treatment needs, while communicating changes to supervisors or physicians and supporting caregivers.

What you'll do

• Provide direct hands-on care to assigned patients

• monitor and manage GJ tube and oxygen needs
• take vital signs and perform ongoing assessments
• communicate changes to supervisors or physicians
• educate and support family members and caregivers
• complete timely EMR documentation.

Why this role
