The counselor provides substance use disorder treatment and recovery support through individual and group counseling, assessments, individualized treatment planning, progress monitoring, documentation, and collaboration with case managers, medical staff, and community resources.

What you'll do

• Provide individual and group counseling for substance use disorder treatment and recovery
• conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• monitor client progress and adjust plans
• maintain clinical documentation
• collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community resources
• facilitate psychoeducational groups and evidence-based interventions
• support coping strategies, relapse prevention, and life skills.
