Material Handling General Assistant

The Material Handling General Assistant role is onsite in West Branch, IA. Pay is $18 per hour. The position supports Nordex Manufacturing’s mission to develop and deliver clean power plants that make 100% renewable energy a reality. The role coordinates warehouse material transactions and supports daily operational needs across warehouse departments. Accurate receiving, movement records, inventory control, and shipping documentation help maintain warehouse efficiency and support production operations.

What you'll do

• Handle incoming goods and unloading
• address damaged materials, quantity discrepancies, delivery delays, labeling, and documentation errors
• manage warehouse documentation and record material movements
• maintain records for warehouse activities
• perform cycle counts and annual inventory counts and investigate stock discrepancies
• provide administrative support, including picking priorities and paperwork
• perform crane pre-operation inspections
• prepare shipments and shipping documents and book UPS and FedEx pickups.
