Caregiver – Spanish-Speaking Senior Support

The Caregiver role is onsite in Norwalk, CT; pay is $17–$19.50 per hour. A Place at Home – Fairfield South is seeking caregivers who can communicate conversationally in Spanish with senior clients. The caregiver helps clients remain safely in their homes by providing personal support, monitoring and documenting condition, and communicating with the care team. The role also includes assistance with meals, mobility, and household tasks as needed.

What you'll do

• Monitor and record clients’ physical and mental condition
• provide bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
• support mobility and use of assistive devices
• help plan and prepare meals according to care plans
• report changes in client condition or home safety
• perform light housekeeping
• document and communicate care
• participate in required training.
