Electrical Engineering Intern — Summer 2027

The Electrical Engineering Intern role is onsite at White Sands Missile Range, NM, for a 12-week full-time summer term from May to August. Pay is $21.77–$30.03 per hour. Beyond New Horizons supports test operations and sustainment for the Arnold Engineering Development Complex and its engineering and technical work. The intern completes real engineering and technical assignments with experienced engineers and scientists, gaining field experience while contributing to Air Force and contractor missions. The program includes a briefing to management on work and learning completed during the summer.

What you'll do

• Complete multiple engineering or technical assignments during the internship
• work with assigned engineer or scientist mentors
• travel independently between buildings and testing facilities within the complex
• present a briefing to management on summer accomplishments.
