What you'll do

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex or specialized surety claims
• determine coverage, liability, damages, exposure, and reserves
• prepare coverage correspondence
• direct internal and external resources
• negotiate settlements within authority and recommend dispositions beyond authority
• document claim activity
• and maintain knowledge of licensing, regulatory, and legal requirements. Mentoring or training less experienced representatives may be part of the role.

Why this role

Requires at least five years handling complex surety bond and/or performance bond claims and experience evaluating litigated claims. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required; a Juris Doctor is preferred.
