The Cook role is onsite in Erlanger, KY. Compensation is $16–$18 per hour. Morrison Living is hiring for the Village Care Center, where the culinary team supports food service for the people it serves. The cook prepares and serves food that meets established recipes, schedules, quality standards, and food-safety requirements. The role helps provide consistent meals through careful portioning, temperature control, kitchen cleanliness, and safe handling and storage of food and supplies.

What you'll do

• Prepare food according to standardized recipes and service schedules
• serve meals or prepare them for delivery with correct portions and temperatures
• maintain service records
• clean the kitchen and store or discard excess food safely
• maintain refrigerators and storerooms
• operate and maintain kitchen equipment
• assist with production planning, ordering, and receiving
• follow HACCP standards and safety procedures.

Why this role

Prior cooking experience is required. Shifts are available between 5:30 AM and 8:00 PM, with days and hours varying; weekend and holiday availability is required.
