What you'll do

• Perform cost accounting and related accounting duties
• prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements
• maintain the general ledger
• code invoices, set up accounts, reconcile accounts, and close monthly books
• reconcile bank and customer accounts
• manage accounts receivable collections
• verify accounts payable invoices
• assist outside auditors
• file required tax forms
• maintain and troubleshoot accounting systems and reporting tools
• support inventory costing, labor and overhead allocation, and manufacturing reconciliations
• coordinate month-end and year-end close activities.
