Program Aide

Job overview

The Program Aide role is onsite in Monroe, LA, with work across classrooms and centers as program operations require. Pay is $10–$10.25 per hour. The role supports the Children's Coalition for Northeast Louisiana's Head Start and Early Head Start activities.

What you'll do

• Assist classroom staff with activities, schedules, lesson plans, routines, meals, and classroom upkeep
• support individual plans for children with special needs according to their IFSP
• help with cleaning and kitchen tasks
• support meal preparation and cleanup
• follow hygiene, sanitation, safety, confidentiality, Head Start, and childcare licensing requirements. Travel to various classrooms or centers is required
• travel to conferences or distant locations may also be required, and evening or weekend work may occasionally be required.
