The Warehouse General Laborer — Box Sorter role is onsite in Plainview, TX, with compensation of $16 per hour. The position supports PLA’s warehouse operations. PLA provides pallet management, third-party logistics, reverse logistics, freight brokerage, and transportation management services. The role exists to sort and prepare boxes for reuse while meeting quality and production goals. By inspecting, labeling, and palletizing boxes and maintaining a safe, orderly work area, the Box Sorter supports warehouse operations and the company’s supply-chain services.

What you'll do

• Break down boxes
• inspect for damage and suitability for reuse
• cover barcodes on boxes accepted for reuse
• palletize sorted boxes by size
• meet daily production requirements, with a standard expectation of at least one pallet per hour
• maintain a clean work area
• follow company policies and safety rules
• assist with other duties supporting team operations.
