Industrial Electrician - Day/Night Shift

The Industrial Electrician is an onsite role based in Hartford, WI. Compensation is $38.00–$48.00 per hour. This role supports the maintenance department at one of Quad's largest manufacturing plants, ensuring the reliability of high-speed production equipment. This position exists to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems. The role contributes to the company's operational efficiency by diagnosing electrical faults, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting equipment installations.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems on industrial production equipment.
• Diagnose 480V three-phase power, motors, VFDs, motor controls, sensors, relays, contactors, and control circuits.
• Use meters and diagnostic tools to trace electrical faults.
• Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Use PLC software to troubleshoot equipment, trace ladder logic, and diagnose inputs, outputs, sensors, and interlocks.
• Perform preventive maintenance and support equipment installations and upgrades.
• Follow lockout/tagout and electrical safe work practices.
