Workforce Coordinator and Compliance Auditor — Day Shift

The Workforce Coordinator and Compliance Auditor role is onsite at a client automotive manufacturing facility in Madison, AL, with pay of $24 per hour plus overtime for hours over 40; on-call participation is paid. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m., with occasional weekend coverage and a rotating emergency on-call team. PPG Quality provides managed services for manufacturers. The role serves as PPG Quality’s onsite workforce contact, coordinating check-in, attendance, interviews, onboarding, and workforce issues while maintaining accurate records. Its weekly compliance audit and client scorecard help verify staffing, onboarding, and safety-training performance.

What you'll do

• Run day-shift check-in, track attendance and no-shows, and coordinate same-day backfill
• serve as daily contact for plant leadership and attend staffing huddles
• schedule and support interviews
• deliver orientation and complete onboarding paperwork
• conduct weekly compliance audits and provide performance scorecards
• resolve workforce issues and maintain shift handoff logs
• communicate in English and Spanish
• perform safety observations, verify PPE and training, document incidents, and escalate unsafe conditions.
