Purchasing Agent

What you'll do

• Source and procure equipment, materials, and services
• negotiate supplier pricing and terms based on technical requirements
• ensure timely delivery
• coordinate delivery timing and inventory management with staff
• monitor inventory to prevent shortages or overstocking
• maintain ERP records, purchase orders, and supporting documentation
• use ERP tools for demand forecasting, order tracking, and reporting
• evaluate suppliers and conduct periodic reviews
• maintain vendor agreements and procurement metrics
• monitor markets, identify value opportunities and alternate sources, and recommend actions to reduce supply-chain disruption. Requires an associate’s degree or recognized procurement designation, 2+ years of procurement experience, and ERP and Microsoft Office proficiency.
