Counselor III — Addiction and Mental Health Treatment

• Build rapport and promote client engagement

• synthesize assessment results into written summaries and diagnostic impressions
• make appropriate referrals
• match clients with agency and community resources
• document counseling activities and progress notes
• educate clients about addiction and related health and psychosocial consequences.
