Caregiver, Flexible Shifts (Skokie and Evanston Area)

The Caregiver works in clients’ homes in the listed service area, including Evanston, IL, Skokie, Lincolnwood, Morton Grove, Niles, Park Ridge, and specified Chicago neighborhoods. Compensation is $19–$20 per hour, with $20 per hour for dementia and Alzheimer’s care assignments. The role supports clients through One You Love Homecare. The caregiver follows each client’s plan of care and helps people remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home through companionship, daily-living assistance, meal support, medication reminders, household tasks, and communication with the office team.

What you'll do

• Offer companionship and emotional support
• assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and safe transfers
• prepare and serve meals
• provide medication reminders
• perform light household tasks and laundry
• drive clients to appointments and errands when assignments include driving
• follow infection-control practices and care plans
• observe and report changes
• and document visits.
