What you'll do

• Verify the plan of care with the RN before each visit
• collaborate with the physician and RN and report changes in patient condition
• teach patients and caregivers self-care techniques
• check vital signs
• review medications and reconcile them at each visit
• perform physician-ordered specialized procedures
• prepare treatment equipment and materials using aseptic technique
• complete timely, accurate documentation.
