The Account Manager, Personal Lines Insurance role is an onsite, full-time position at the employer’s headquarters in Albany, NY, with a Monday–Friday availability of 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Pay is $21.00–$32.60 per hour. The role reports to the Vice President–Agency Operations Manager. The account manager handles service and policy administration for personal insurance clients, supporting retention through timely communication, renewal management, and accurate processing. The role also identifies cross-selling opportunities and helps maintain reliable client and policy records.

What you'll do

• Manage client service requests and multiple accounts and renewals
• handle billing, identification cards, policy documents, cancellations and reinstatements, endorsements, renewals, binders, invoices, and certificates
• review coverage needs and shop markets when rate increases exceed thresholds
• support agency-bill and direct-bill questions
• monitor carrier downloads
• collaborate with sales on new business handoffs and renewal strategies
• maintain client records and workflows in the agency management system
• assist with new-business quotes when needed.
