What you'll do

• Perform x-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement using knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Operate diagnostic equipment, develop film, and prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies.
• Perform Medical Assistant duties.
• Greet patients, communicate wait times, provide direction, and resolve patient problems.
• Execute follow-up calls.
• Assist front desk personnel with check-in/out.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, weight, history, medications, and allergies.
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures.
• Follow documentation procedures.
• Perform timely radiology procedures and quality control.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring patient safety and proper radiation protection.
• Ensure equipment is in proper working order.
• Maintain and improve diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills.
• Maintain current licensure and certification.
