What you'll do

• Clear brush, trees, vines, and other vegetation from electric utility rights-of-way
• maintain access to poles, lines, equipment, and facilities
• operate vegetation management tools and equipment
• cut, drag, pile, chip, and dispose of debris
• occasionally assist line technicians with electric distribution work
• support jobsite setup, material handling, and traffic control
• respond to after-hours outages and storm restoration when scheduled or called upon
• inspect tools, vehicles, equipment, and utility poles
• follow safety procedures
• participate in training and apprentice progression.
