Security Officer – Access Control

What you'll do

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors while carrying out access-control procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location
• monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor records, and direct individuals according to access requirements
• respond calmly to alarms, incidents, and critical situations and escalate concerns
• conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facilities, and perimeter areas
• maintain logs, incident reports, and other required documentation. The listed anchor shift is Friday, 5:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with a six-month commitment
• additional shifts may be picked up.
