Part-Time Custodian

The Part-Time Custodian role is onsite in Bellwood, IL, at the Senior Center. Pay is $16.60 per hour for 20 hours per week, scheduled as five hours a day, four days per week. Chicago Methodist Senior Services provides programs and services to older adults across Chicagoland. The custodian maintains a clean, sanitary, safe, and operationally ready environment for Senior Center participants. The work includes routine floor and surface care, waste removal, bathroom supply restocking, and timely communication about facility or supply needs.

What you'll do

• Sweep and mop tiled floors
• dust as needed
• vacuum carpeted areas
• clean spills
• collect and dispose of trash
• restock bathroom paper and soap supplies
• report needs and concerns
• manage time independently when a supervisor is absent
• communicate cleaning-supply inventory needs.
