What you'll do

• Meet with attorneys, clients, and other professionals about assigned cases
• draft routine pleadings, motions, affidavits, and interrogatories
• file documents according to judicial procedures
• research and analyze legal sources and prepare written analysis
• interview clients and witnesses and summarize statements
• organize and maintain case files
• assist with trial preparation, which may include attending trials and hearings
• maintain billable-hour records.
