The Grinder / Machine Operator — Day Shift is an onsite, temp-to-hire role in Washington, MO. Pay is $20.22 per hour. The role is with a confidential manufacturing company through FLAG Solutions and includes hands-on training. The operator shapes and finishes titanium sheets to customer specifications. The work supports production by preparing and monitoring grinding equipment, checking finished surfaces and dimensions, and following production orders and safety procedures. A direct-employment conversion may be available after approximately 90 days based on performance and client approval, but is not guaranteed.

What you'll do

• Use roller tables to move and flip titanium sheets into and out of grinding equipment
• inspect surfaces and remove defects
• check thickness with micrometers and thickness gauges
• set up machines and install grinder belts
• monitor equipment for operating errors
• perform minor grinder maintenance and periodic cleaning
• follow production orders, standard operating procedures, and safety instructions.

Why this role

Entry-level role with hands-on training; prior titanium or machinery experience is not required; rotating 3-2-2 schedule includes every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; overtime as required. A $3,000 sign-on bonus may be available upon conversion, subject to eligibility and bonus terms.
