Shop Technician / Mechanic

Job overview

The Shop Technician / Mechanic role is onsite in Delaware, OH, and pays $19–$23 per hour, plus overtime at time and a half and a monthly shop-revenue bonus. PIRTEK Marion is opening a Delaware service center and supports emergency industrial hose service. The technician builds hose assemblies, supports walk-in customers, and keeps inventory and service vans ready for field technicians. This work helps ensure the right fittings and supplies are available when customers need equipment service.

What you'll do

• Measure, cut, crimp, and build hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies
• identify replacements from customer samples or specifications
• greet customers, answer calls, write service tickets, and take payment
• organize inventory and restock vans
• receive shipments
• handle local deliveries and pickups
• maintain shop tools and equipment
• and assist with shop setup and van upfitting.
