The Lifeguard role is onsite in Bellmore, NY. Compensation is $17–$19 per hour. The lifeguard supports a safe environment for SafeSplash students, parents, employees, and customers. The lifeguard monitors swimmers and pool activity, responds to emergencies, and provides emergency care until emergency medical services arrive. The role also reinforces curriculum safety requirements and helps deliver a safe, positive experience for swimmers.

What you'll do

• Maintain constant surveillance of customers
• report unsafe activities, equipment, or instruction
• provide immediate feedback to instructors about curriculum safety requirements
• respond appropriately to emergencies
• provide emergency care until emergency medical services arrive
• prepare incident reports
• attend monthly in-services
• help ensure a safe environment for swimmers.
