This role exists to contribute to plumbing system design and engineering solutions under the supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer. The designer will ensure compliance with building codes, conduct site visits, and develop construction documents to support the firm's project delivery goals.

What you'll do

• Design service water piping, sewage disposal systems, specialty piping, and fire safety systems.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable local, state, and national building codes.
• Conduct predesign site visits to survey existing conditions and document findings.
• Prepare preliminary design drawings and obtain necessary project approvals.
• Develop contract documents including calculations, design drawings, schematics, and details for construction.
• Review contractor submittals to verify conformance with design documents.
• Perform site observations to ensure compliance with contract documents and building codes.
